Although the Crown act is passed in some states and counties, the CROWN Act has not yet passed in the Senate (meaning it has not passed nationally). It was approved by the House of Representatives with a vote of 235–189 on March 18, 2022, but it still awaits consideration and approval in the Senate. If it successfully passes the Senate and is signed into law by the President, it will prohibit hair texture and style discrimination at the federal level. Until then, its status remains pending. 🗳️🏛️
