1️⃣Kaylee has two sassy cats and a silly dog and she will tell you all about them if you want to hear! 🐱🐱🐶
2️⃣Before moving to Richmond, they lived in the North Carolina Appalachian mountain region for about 7 years and it is her favorite place on earth! 🌎 (She even traveled back in 2025 to get married there)
3️⃣Kaylee loves going out to drag shows, movie nights with friends, playing games with her spouse, and doing the occasional craft!

For a second year in a row, we are partnering with & for a period supply drive in May for Menstrual Health Awareness Month!

🌙FOR THE MONTH OF MAY, we are accepting donations of pads, panty liners, tampons, wipes, and menstrual cups! There will be a collection box in our front lobby where donations can be placed during our business hours.

🌙Period Patch Inc. distributes menstrual products to community partners throughout RVA to help address a dire need in the community. Menstrual products are a BASIC NECESSITY, yet they are not covered by SNAP benefits, & studies indicate that as many as 1 in 4 teens struggle with affording menstrual supplies.

💕If you can’t donate menstrual supplies, you can donate to the Church Hill Rotary Club directly via Venmo at ! All donations from the month of May will be used to purchase supplies for donation!

DID YOU KNOW ALL YOUR HAIR LEFTOVER FROM HAIRCUTS AT LUMINARY GOES TO A GOOD CAUSE?!🌎🌱🌈

✨You may not know this, but we donate all discarded hair through the Salon Cycle program at TerraCycle to clean up oil spills in waterways and beaches all over the world! 🌊

✨Leveraging hair’s natural ability to absorb more than five times its weight in oil, companies like TerraCycle use discarded hair from salons like ours to mop up spilled petroleum products, providing a sustainable, biodegradable alternative to synthetic materials.

✨This approach transforms hair waste into a resource, diverting it from landfills where it would otherwise release greenhouse gases.

❤️Fun Fact: Hair can be dried and reused to clean up oil spills up to 100 times before being composted!
