As many of you know, I have always poured my heart into every guest experience behind the chair. In order to continue physically doing what I love for many more years to come, I’ve made the decision to begin incorporating co-stylists into some of my appointments to assist with shampooing and blow drying services.

This change is something I’m genuinely excited about because it not only helps protect the longevity of my career, but it also allows me to mentor and train the next generation of stylists by working side-by-side with them in a hands-on environment. It will also give me more time to focus on managing and growing the salon and supporting our team.

I want to reassure all of my guests that you will still receive 100% of the same service, attention, and technical work from me personally. Your color, cutting, consultations, and overall experience will continue to reflect the same level of care and quality you’ve always trusted me for.

There will be no additional cost to my guests. Co-stylists assisting during your appointment will be compensated through the salon and tip outs through me.

For those who prefer appointments without a co-stylist assisting, I will continue to offer one dedicated solo day every other Wednesday and every other Saturday. I could also accommodate at the beginning or the end of a shift. With that being said, I will be calling soon to make the necessary adjustments to my appointment schedule.

As my role behind the scenes continues to grow, I’m working on ways to better balance being behind the chair and running the business well — without sacrificing the quality, detail, or experience you know and love.

One idea I’m considering is adding a co-stylist during my appointments. This person would assist with things like shampooing and blowouts, while I would continue to do all of the technical work — your color, cutting, formulas, and overall vision would still be 100% me.
