WOW!! I’m a little sad it’s over 😭 THANK YOU Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. for another amazing year at Steppin Out!! I adore meeting, reconnecting, and interacting with each and everyone of you - THANK YOU for letting my art be a part of your lives 💕

And in regards to *that* post on Everything Blacksburg - I was preemptively blocked so I have no idea if I was named. Whether it was about the few *bad words* or the plethora of Pride flags in my booth - I must have had a hundred children in my booth these last few days, and you trusted me to interact with them, treat them with respect, and tons of you parents allowed them to pick out special lil treats. And I get to tell you about my beautiful kiddo & we share stories about our kids together. I love that so much 🥹

That’s a wrap on Steppin’ Out 2026, and y’all… BEST. ONE. EVER.

So much less rain 😂, SO many more Soapies, and two absolutely incredible days in one of our very favorite places!!

We saw familiar faces, met so many new Soapies, watched you sniff your way through the Autumn Collection, restocked and rearranged more times than we can count, and somehow loved this event even more than we already did.

Steppin’ Out is a BIG week (well months lol 😜) for our little family and business. There are so many hours of making, packing, loading, setting up and preparing that happen before we ever open those tents on Main Street—and every single bit of it feels worth it when you guys show up the way you did this weekend. 🧼🥹

Thank you for shopping small. Thank you for coming back year after year. Thank you for bringing your friends, telling us your favorites, stocking up, trying something new, and reminding us why we love doing this so much!! 😊
