We celebrated 31 nurses this September. 💜 Nurse Appreciation Month at Salinair Salt Room Spa was our thank-you to the people who spend long shifts taking care of everyone else. For 45 minutes in the salt cave, someone took care of them.
To every nurse who booked a session with us, thank you for what you do and for letting us give a little of it back.
☑ October brings our next celebration, and we're so excited to share who it's for. Stay tuned.

1 spot left! Rochester Hills, MI - https://app.arketa.co/goodvibesonly/schedule/checkout/7PCbe7QSk1NaS9nh7RNS Take one uninterrupted hour for yourself and step into a space created for deep relaxation, reflection, and stillness.
This intimate salt room + sound bath experience is limited to only 6 participants, creating a peaceful setting where you can slow down, settle in, and simply breathe.
Your session will be guided by Whitney Martin, a sound bath practitioner who believes in creating intentional spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and step away from the noise of everyday life.
Whitney’s love of sound healing grew from her own appreciation for mindfulness, movement, and the power of creating moments of stillness in a busy world. Through singing bowls and other intentional sounds, she creates immersive experiences designed to encourage deep relaxation, reflection, and a sense of calm.
🧂 Never been to a salt cave before? Here’s exactly what to expect.
Your appointment at Salinair Salt Room Spa is 60 minutes, with 45 minutes of active halotherapy.
You simply settle into one of our comfortable chairs, relax, breathe normally, and let the halogenerator do the work.
During the session, our halogenerator grinds pharmaceutical-grade pure salt into microscopic particles and disperses them into the air. As you breathe, those tiny dry salt particles can travel into the respiratory system while also settling on the skin.
Why do people come?
🌬️ To support clearer, more comfortable breathing
👃 During allergy and sinus season
😮💨 When dealing with congestion, coughs and seasonal respiratory irritation
🧘 To relax, slow down and reset
😴 Many of our clients also tell us they sleep incredibly well afterward
And RIGHT NOW is such a good time to experience it. Fall allergies are here, kids are back in school, and coughs, colds and stuffy noses are making their rounds.
Come however you want.
Come by yourself and enjoy an hour of quiet.
Bring your best friend and catch up while getting salty.
Or bring the kids and make it a family salt session — we have a children’s salt box and family-friendly options too. 🧂
Never tried halotherapy? Your first visit is the perfect time to see what the salt cave experience is all about.

Your space is waiting for you, right here in Rochester Hills. ☑ For more than 10 years, Salinair Salt Room Spa has been a quiet little salt cave on W Auburn Rd, and with 4.7 stars across 100+ Google reviews, the secret is getting out. Many of our guests find us the same way, through a friend who couldn't stop talking about their first visit.
If halotherapy is new to you, here is what happens. You settle into a salt cave for 45 minutes while a halogenerator grinds 99.99% pharmaceutical-grade salt into particles smaller than 5 microns and releases them into the air. You breathe normally, and those tiny particles travel deep into your airways. According to the Salt Therapy Association, dry salt works like a sponge, attracting and helping clear what we breathe in every day, which is why people use it to support easier breathing, sinus and allergy wellness, and calmer skin.
The idea goes back to 1843, when Polish physician Dr. Feliks Boczkowski noticed that workers in the Wieliczka Salt Mine rarely had breathing troubles, and he opened the first health resort right inside the mine. In 1976, doctors and scientists built the first halogenerator, and modern halotherapy was born. Today, one 45-minute session gives you the salt particle exposure of 7 to 8 hours in a natural salt mine.
Come on your own or bring your people. Friends and partners can share a session together, and kids come with you in our private family cave, stocked with toys and fully screen-free, so they play while everyone breathes.
New guests get their first 45-minute session for $37.

Happiness doesn’t come from money. It comes from how you spend it. 💛
And our clients are choosing to spend a little of theirs on feeling better, slowing down, breathing easier, and supporting their wellness journey.
They choose to GET SALTY. 🧂
Maybe you’ve never heard of Salinair Salt Room Spa in Rochester Hills. Maybe you’ve experienced halotherapy before. Either way, fall is a great time to come see what all this salt is about.
🍂 Runny noses
🍂 Seasonal allergies
🍂 Sinus congestion
🍂 Lingering coughs
🍂 Mucus and stuffiness
🍂 That “everyone around me is getting sick” season
During a halotherapy session, our halogenerator grinds pharmaceutical-grade salt into microscopic dry salt particles and disperses them throughout the Salt Cave. As you relax and breathe normally, those particles travel through the respiratory system.
Dry salt may help loosen mucus and support clearer airways, while the quiet Salt Cave gives you an hour to simply sit, breathe, and reset.
And yes — FAMILY appointments are available! Bring the kids and get salty together. 👨👩👧👦
