One of the hardest parts of doing hair is when a client moves away. Of course I miss doing their hair, but what I miss even more is them.

Messages like this mean more to me than my clients probably realize. I’ve always wanted your time in my chair to be so much more than just a hair appointment. I want you to walk through my door and feel like you’re coming to see a friend—where we catch up on life, laugh, vent, celebrate the good things, and sometimes just have a little break from everything.

Over the years, I’ve watched my clients go through new jobs, marriages, babies, moves, heartbreaks, celebrations and everything in between—and you’ve watched my life change too. You’ve watched my babies grow up, and probably have seen them a time or two in the salon!

So when a longtime client moves away, it really does feel like saying goodbye to a friend. Hair is what brought us together, but the relationships built behind my chair are what make this career so special to me.

I hope every single person who sits in my chair knows that you’re never just an appointment on my books. You’re part of what makes me love what I do. And no matter where life takes you, there will always be a spot in my chair for you. 🥹🫶🏼
