Leave the spa after a sauna and a float? You’re gonna be totally grounded.

Leave the spa after a sauna, float, and facial? You’re gonna be a totally different person.

You heard that right! And that’s why we keep a checklist next to the door 😂 it’s so much new information, that it’s probably forgotten shortly after we leave the float therapy room!

But that’s the beautiful thing about it this experience - is that it’s such a new way to explore the depths of well… you.

Recognizing a wandering mind? Finding out that stillness takes a while? Learning you fell asleep as soon as you lay down in the water? It’s such a beautiful and truly independent way of learning who and how you are without the distractions that we’re all constantly bombarded with.

The only way you’ll ever truly understand, is by trying it for yourself.

The difference at Saha is… WE TAKE OUR HEADPHONES OUT WHEN WE’RE WITH GUESTS. 😂

I cannot tell you how many times we’ve gotten compliments from guests , or even people just walking in to check out the rooms saying, “Oh my gosh, the staff here are so lovely. They’re so attentive and genuine.”

And honestly, I think a part of that comes from giving our staff the freedom to make the space feel comfortable for them, too.

I’ve worked in places where headphones weren’t allowed, and I’ve worked in places where they were. And I’ve always been happier when I can put on a little podcast or get some music pumping while I’m working.

But one of the biggest things that gets to me when I’m out in the world is seeing people completely deflated — so checked out that they stop realizing the person standing in front of them is another human being.

So when we’re training our staff at Saha, we always say: yes, absolutely, put a headphone in. but just one.

But the second you see a person, take it out.

Because genuine human connection is our top priority.

And right behind that? Making sure our staff are comfortable, happy, and actually enjoy being here, too.

Do you want to join in on the fun? You can play your own music while you’re in the sauna too 😉

Community leaders, matriarchs, caregivers, mothers… you know exactly who you are.

Yes. That one moment of peace and calm can make a world of difference. You know exactly what I’m talking about.

Whether it’s here at the spa in Midtown, or in those quiet moments when the family is out grabbing groceries for the evening… don’t forget your anchor.

You deserve those peaceful moments of happiness. Of stillness. Of just being present.

That clarity matters. It’s what keeps your battery charged so you can continue showing up for everyone you love.

Thank you for all that you do.

And don’t forget to take care of you, too.

Does the silence drive you crazy…. Or does the music drive you mad? Drop your preference below!

Personally, 8 out of 10 times I keep my music on the fade option. I definitely need some silence during my float session, it lets me to let all of the thoughts spill out of my brain. But that first few minutes, it’s a little too much! I need something to ground me. You know?

What’s your preference? And why?

Being alone in a salty pool of water, without any light or sound? Maybe not for me.

But allowing the whole world to fully stop, taking away all the distractions so I can just be… with you? Now that’s what I’m talking about.

Thank you so much for being the sunshine in my day. Thank you for being my safe person, even when I’m angry, or stressed out, or so emotional that I can’t even handle myself.

I know that I can be completely myself with you. And I’m forever grateful for that.

I think we both deserve to just be with each other. Without the distractions of the outside world, even if it’s just for a moment.

I love you.

U+ME=❤️
