We just wanted to take a moment and say how grateful we are to you! Thank you for the love and constant support. Not a day goes by that we don’t look forward to heading into our little studio and getting to share conversations, life events and everything in between with you all 💓 thankful for our ever-growing flock of dirty birds!

Here at Dirty Bird we end each service with Fur Oil which soothes and protects your skin 🤍 the products you see above our stocked on our shelves!

Colder months are on the horizon and can cause dry, itchy and irritated skin! Here’s a few tips to keep your skin moisturized and healthy:

1. Limit shower time and temperature. It’s tempting to take a long steamy shower but it can easily irritate your skin. Try 5-10 minutes in a lukewarm temperature. If you’re getting out of the shower with red skin, it’s too hot!

2. Less exfoliating, more moisturizing! Your skin’s natural oils aren’t producing as much during colder months and you don’t want to continuously take off the oils that are there. Use unscented lotions or fur oil to aid in your skin’s moisture levels.

3. Ease up on the astringents and toners. Many astringents contain alcohol which can dry you out.

4. Stay hydrated! Your water intake directly correlates to your skin’s hydration levels.
