There’s something special about being in spaces with people that look like you who believe that people like you belong in those spaces. We are so conditioned to think that because we are immigrants that we aren’t supposed to be in important spaces. But when you surround yourself with people who believe in you and believe this country is absolutely for you too, you can rise to become anything you want to be. Support one another because there is enough to go around for everyone to make their dreams come true.

Saturday mornings are my rare days that I can sleep in. So if I can I will. But my 2 youngest don’t care and still come and bug me even though they have 2 parents in the house and older siblings. They will still come and find me🤦🏻‍♀️. But not today you want to eat? You’re growing up make it yourself. Today is French toast cooking lesson #1.

Waking up is a privilege that not everyone gets to partake in. And I’m grateful for everyday and every piece of grace that I’m given to be better today than I was yesterday!

Sometimes we just gotta be grateful where we are and for the things we are NOT. Cause I mean seriously, at least I’m not… thank you for where I am cause it could be worse.

I don’t know about yall house, but in my house it never fails my kids will see my singing and getting into and they act like I ain’t doing anything and just talk over me singing like I’m inconveniencing them. Like I walked up into their space to interrupt them and not the other way around. But they also know they gonna get ignored for the most part till I want to answer them.

What you see is what you get. I don’t fake my lifestyle because why would I? My story is mine and your story is yours. So pretend to be something you’re not? Be happy and Grateful you even have a story to tell.

I started a daily 10k challenge with my family and I hate it already but I’m grateful to still be able to move in this body that Heavenly Father blessed me with to care for while still here on earth. And no matter how many times I fail, I’m still willing to get back up and keep trying, Desr Lord. thank you for the grace of time🙏
