(Well in a few days, but I won’t be here to celebrate so we had to do it early. 😭

I had so many things planned for today that just didn’t come together, I wanted to get ready & look nice, find a way to get at the girls together, take photos and it just didn’t happen and then I thought to myself, it’s okay in reality THIS is what it means to be a business owner. Not having everything all together, things not always going as planned, schedules not always coinciding, sometimes life just doesn’t go your way but it’s about HOW you power through these obstacles that life WILL throw at you and learning from them every single day. Everyone knows me for being a Safford Esthetician that never stops promoting her business regardless of how annoying it makes her look, but I will never stop. This business and what it stands for means EVERYTHING to me. I pour my heart & soul into what I do everyday and watching the growth from being just me .lux.esthetics (which also JUST TURNED 3🎉) to now owning my location, having incredibly talented, honorable women I get to NOT ONLY work with but call my friends, WINNING consecutive awards, the BEST awards in the Gila Valley twice in the same 2 years we have been open has really made me believe that dreams do really come true. I know my journey doesn’t end here, I will always seek opportunities on how I can learn and grow personally & professionally but right now looking back, MAN, what a ride. I love this community, I love that I get to come to work and help women & men look and feel their best, I love what this business has been able to provide for my kids and the way I can set an example for them. I LOVE and ADORE my clients that have come to be family. I LOVE this life, God thank you. 🥹✨ BRB gonna go sob.

Have you ever wondered if we are open after hours? Well, the answer is YES, and chances are, that’s the reason you haven’t seen Whitney around. 🖤

For those of you who don’t know, this is Whitney Jones, and she is available for bookings from 5:30pm-8:30pm by appointment only weekdays & some weekends. We try our absolute best to be as accommodating as possible when it comes to people and their schedules, which is why we are open after hours ✨

Whitney is a proud mom of 3 beautiful children. She has always had an interest in all things beauty and maintenance. ✨

Currently Whitney offers a large variety of services. For starters she is Certified Permanent Makeup Artist who specializes in Lip Blush and Lip Infusion services, she is also a Certified Body Sculpting Specialist, Tooth Gem Technician, Brow Lamination Artist and so much more. She has an intense passion for helping people feel their best and it shows in her work. She is extremely detail oriented when it comes to her line of work and takes her time to get things just right. She’s one of those people that is just bubbly and fun when you get to know her. 🖤

Have you heard of the term “Double Cleansing”?

In the skincare world it refers to washing the skin twice before applying any other skincare products after. Usually this can be done by using an oil based cleanser first (especially for any makeup-wearing girlies) this helps break down the makeup and then, that is typically followed by a foaming or more lathery cleanser to get the remaining residue off. When you are not double cleaning, chances are you leaving about 60% of your makeup still on, it’s more than likely just spread to different places now.

This is Shania Tavesi . Shania has been dually licensed in Aesthetics and Cosmetology since 2015, putting her in the industry for about 8 years now. She is an eyebrow specialist, and is super well known in the community overall for how perfectly she can do her job. If that’s not enough to convince you to come see her she also offers body waxing and customized facials as well. 🖤

Shania began her journey .studios.az in January of 2023 in hopes of taking her business to the next level. Since then she has had to close her books to new clients due to how full her schedule has been since. Shania brings such a fun, genuine and kind energy to our workplace. She’s one of those individuals that you just miss when she’s not around. The amount of love she receives from her clients, proves what an incredible beauty service provider she has always been and continues to be. She’s truly one of a kind. ✨

If you’ve visited Skin Studios, chances are you’ve seen Destini around.

For those of you who don’t know, this is Destini Munoz .lux.esthetics ✨ Destini is a Licensed Esthetician and the proud outspoken owner of .studios.az ! She specializes in Acne Treatment and Brazilian Waxing services but offers pretty much everything in between. 🖤

Surprisingly enough, Destini hasn’t been in the industry for very long, which you’d never anticipate with the amount of traction she has in her social media and client base presence.

Destini graduated Esthetician school at Tucson College of Beauty (TCOB) in September of 2021. Putting her in the skincare game for just 2 months shy of 2 years. Her love for skin began when she was struggling with her own Cystic Grade IV Acne, and became intrigued with skin and the way it works. Since graduating she has been able to help so many people achieve their skincare goals and takes great pride in doing so.

In October of 2022 she decided to take a leap and purchase what is now Skin Studios, impressively in just 1 year from graduating Esthetician School. Destini loves her role as an esthetician and it’s evident in the way she interacts with her clients and has a fun, outgoing, happy-go-lucky personality when she’s here. If you’re interested in scheduling services with her, chances are she’s completely booked but services with her are always worth the wait!

Lip Blush or “Lip Blushing” is a non-invasive, semipermanent makeup solution also considered (lip cosmetic tattoo) that is designed to enhance the lips color, shape and symmetry while creating the appearance of fuller lips.

How long does it last? ✨
On average in the realm of 12-18 months, but this does depend on factors such as proper aftercare, lifestyle and touch-up preferences.

Is it painful? ⚡️
Lip Blush isn’t considered to be extremely painful. Luckily most service providers apply a topical anesthetic to help ease any pain or discomfort.

It’s Birthday season here .studios.az and what better way to formally introduce and give complete spotlight to other than our incredible, Melissa Soza- on her 28th Birthday. ✨

Melissa began her journey in the beauty industry 5 years ago when she discovered her love for Bridal Hair and Makeup. Essentially, this lead her to her passion in Permanent Makeup Artistry (PMUA). Now Melissa is a whopping 5x Certified Permanent Makeup Artist, one of the most mell known in the county we might add. Not only is her portfolio in PMUA Brow AND Lip services astounding, she offers an array of advanced skin treatments such as Microneedling, Fibroblast Skin Tag Removal, Eyebrow Laminations, Threading, Event Makeup Services and so much more. Her love for her job is evident in the way she carries herself and tends to her clients. You can’t go wrong scheduling a service with her.

We have been lucky enough to have Melissa since our Grand Opening on October 15th 2022 and it’s been such a pleasure having her ever since. Melissa takes her profession extremely seriously so when clients come in she’s always in work mode, but in between clients, she’s goofy and fun which keeps our environment lively and we appreciate her so much for that.

We can’t wait to witness her continue to thrive!

Lindsay began her journey at Skin Studios in January of 2023. She has been an incredible addition to our team and we feel honored to have her be apart of our crew.
