Being a small business owner means wearing many different hats at any given moment. Some days I’m focused on operations, customer service, marketing, inventory, or planning what’s next for the brand. But my favorite role will always be skincare formulator.

I genuinely love experimenting with new formulations, testing ingredients, and bringing concepts to life from scratch. Formulating for sensitive, eczema-prone skin, are truly the most reactive and difficult skin types, and require a completely different level of care, intention, and patience. Every ingredient, percentage, and combination has to be carefully considered to create products that are both effective and well-tolerated. There’s a lot of testing, refining, and trial and error behind the scenes, which honestly makes the process even more interesting to me.

A lot of time goes into creating products for skin that reacts to almost everything. It pushes me to constantly keep learning and improving so I can create formulas that are not only effective, but truly gentle enough for the people who need them most. 🤍
