Was going to work today the best idea I've ever had? Absolutely not. I think I misjudge how much work I actually do lol But I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone that came in today for being extremely patient when I needed a break or wasn't cutting at my normal speed. It wasn't easy but we made it through.

Tomorrow I will be there 9a-1p and probably still not at 100%. So I'm thanking everyone ahead of time for not being rude about the wait time/me needing to take a 2 minute break. I'm doing the best that I can (and more than the doctor recommended) but closing up for a full week is devastating.

I will be OPEN today (July 17th). No worries, I'm not contagious (even went to the doctor to be sure).

I will not be open today (July 16th). I am trying to rest and be done with this but its hanging on like I'm its last hope *sigh*

Still not out of the woods from this. So unfortunately, I'll be closed again Wednesday (July 15th).

Believe me, I didn't plan on getting sick and I wish I could undo it.

Unfortunately, I seem to have caught a little something (fingers crossed its the 24hr kind of thing) so the shop will be CLOSED Tuesday, July 14th.

Since there's been a lot of confusion, I thought I would explain the calendar that's in the window. Each month, I make a calendar to prepare for that particular month so I can give you a heads up about dates I may be closing early or not open at all. Here's the key:

* Blank dates mean the hours are normal that day. If I wrote out the hours each day, the calendar becomes too cluttered and hard to read.

* CLOSED means closed (that one's easy).

*If times are written on a given date then the hours are adjusted from the normal scheduled hours for that day.

*Thursdays say 6a-1p because those are new hours (started Oct 1st 2025) and it will take time for everyone to adjust.

*Notes at the bottom contain dates for the following month in hopes of giving enough notice to plan for your next cut.

I've been getting complaints that I'm not putting a 'Closed' sign on the door when I'm closed for that day. I'm not going to kill more trees to put a sign on the door when the calendar is 6 feet to the right. I apologize if this frustrates you.

Just a reminder: I am open Friday (June 19th) from 9a-530p and CLOSED on Saturday (June 20th) for the Hero Center's Reverse Raffle.

Back to the grind!! Hours are back to normal starting June 2nd!!

The shop will be closed May 22nd-May 30th.
