Accolades Salon Spa was founded in 1999 in the heart of Highland Park, by the late Brad Schlaeger—a visionary who believed a salon should be more than just a place for hair and skincare. Brad dreamed of creating a space that felt laid-back yet elevated, where guests could relax, feel at home, and receive exceptional service from professionals who are truly committed to their craft. We believe beauty is personal, which is why we celebrate individuality and embrace the unique needs of every guest. We’re proud to be the neighborhood salon where everyone greets you with a smile, and the energy is always warm and inviting. Our commitment to wellness and sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We proudly use and offer our in-house haircare line, Clean Enhanced Organics, and our handcrafted skincare brand, Arigato, alongside Aveda’s plant-powered products. Our focus on organic, high-performing ingredients allows us to provide services that care for more than just your hair and skin—they support your overall well-being. At Accolades, we’re not about trends or cookie-cutter beauty. We’re about real people, thoughtful service, and personalized experiences that help you feel like the best version of yourself.
