Originally from the San Diego area of Southern California, Deputy Witherell brings experience, dedication, and a passion for serving others to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

When he’s off duty, you’ll likely find him at the shooting range—or, even better, spending time with his grandkids, who always take priority.

Deputy Witherell says he was first drawn to law enforcement by the excitement and challenge of the job. After retiring, he realized he missed the camaraderie, sense of purpose, and unique environment that come with serving in law enforcement. That calling brought him back to continue serving our community.
