We took her from grown out previous colors, to a gorgeous neutral color. She had her “final straw” when someone asked her if her hair naturally grew out of her head that color & immediately booked an appointment with me. Now she feels like she has “Megan Fox Hair”.

We love transformations like this, the color back in her skin, and the glimmer back in her eye. The all around excitement to be HER again, is what did it for me. Sometimes a simple neutral color is how you become THAT girl.

Okay so I have been posting most of my hair content on my personal TikTok, but recently I have decided that going forward I am going to start posting my video content on a hair only TikTok account to keep things separate and hair focused. I would LOVE, client input on content you would like to see. Maybe things you wish hairstylists would post but they don’t, this can be anything from before & after a, during the process, how to’s, product recommendations & reviews, consultation process, etc. I want this platform to be exclusive to not just my clients, but also potential clients to other stylists who may not feel comfortable sharing or asking questions, as well as hairstylists who don’t regularly post content themselves, what are things you would like to see that is not normally touched on in our industry? This is something that has been sitting on my heart for a while, and this weekend just felt like confirmation to start.

This client has been through the process of removing box dye with me for a few months with me, she’s been patient and living in transition shades, living with her short hair, for most people this is extremely hard and uncomfortable.

However when you want change and you crave it, you commit, and she’s committed to it, she understands how important her hair health is now, every time she’s educated about something she didn’t know before and she sticks to the plan we come up with for home care which is extremely important during this process.

She color matched her hair extensions both times during this process and did an extremely well job, these dimensional extensions blend very well currently and we may add in a lowlight to blend them a little more to reduce the brightness.

Today we went in with a blending cut to reduce weight and create movement in the hair. Blending sometimes isn’t always necessary depending on length and extension type, however she needed some. The very last picture was before we cut, and the one before that was after. As you can see it is much more softer and the color blends a lot more together, I think once we add in some lowlights this will really fall together if we decide to.

We have stretched our lightening process out further due to hair health, which does happen in box dye cases, and I will always put my clients hair health first before the goal. We can always live in the transition shade for longer, hair takes longer to grow back and I’m simply not willing to fry off someone’s hair to achieve a goal. Having clients that understand this and are patient enough to know how important that is, will always have a place in my chair.

This transformation has blessed me in SO many ways, watching her light come back to her, discussing our businesses and growth together you realize that people are truly not what social media reflects. And I absolutely value the conversations we’ve had ❤️☺️
