Safe space in a city with a culture that highly values perfectionism over authenticity.

I was reminded recently, by a client I have loved for nearly my whole time in SLC-11 years, of what we are creating at Alcove. I think it’s fitting to remember that I joined alcove at the beginning of my divorce, a time when I needed these things. I’m so grateful for the space we’ve created together, and the stylists who live these values & carry this energy..we love you.🤍

A place where you don’t have to be dressed up, you just have to be dressed. Sweats are allowed & welcomed.

A place to celebrate, but also mourn.

Hair holds a lot of energy. Sometimes you need to get your hair done when you’re not feeling good about yourself. Sometimes you need to let go of the hair & that can be emotional.

I’m here for all of it. The good days & the absolute s**t ones. Because this space, and all of you, were my safe space during my darkest time. And, I’m grateful for that everyday.
