Red, White, & Blue, rainbow baby #2 is due🩵🌈
It's no secret that fertility has always been a struggle for us. Right after the new year began, we got the news we were expecting again. But our excitement was short-lived as I began having complications early on. Over that next month I was in and out of the dr's office and hospitals every other day for blood draws or ultrasounds. Doctors struggled to find the baby and labeled it a "pregnancy of unknown location." Until one day in February while working I began experiencing symptoms of fatal shock.. my pregnancy was ectopic and my tube was rupturing and I was already hemorrhaging. The next morning I was rushed into surgery to have my fallopian tube removed, locate/remove the pregnancy, and stop the bleeding. They also discovered I also had endometriosis at that time (that was no surprise to me). It was the scariest thing I've ever experienced in my life and has taken us a long time to process (we still haven't completely processed tbh). We went through it silently because it was a lot to take on. The thought of leaving my son without his mama and my husband was a thought I still cannot process and makes me cry everytime because it was so close to that.

Fast forward to April, we got a surprise we didn't see coming. God blessed us with another chance to grow our family🤍 Although this pregnancy is now high risk for me, I'm counting my blessings and taking it one day at a time. We're finally out of the first trimester and are so happy to announce a little brother is coming this Christmas🩵🌈🎄 God is good✝️
