Have you ever noticed how much better you feel when your beauty is aligned—and you actually capture that feeling in a selfie? 🤍
Recently, I checked in with one of my guest’s about the progress we’ve been making with her brows.
Her response made me smile. She shared that she loves how she looks in her selfies and feels much happier with her appearance overall.
And this is why I love the work I do.
Sometimes, we spend so much time trying to achieve a particular brow shape or beauty look that we lose sight of what feels right for us.
Trends change. Our features evolve. Our lifestyles and preferences shift with different seasons of life.
And what looks beautiful on someone else may not feel authentic, practical, or even attainable for our everyday routines.
When our beauty choices feel disconnected from who we are, it can leave us questioning what actually works for us.
But when we learn to understand our natural features and how to enhance them in a way that feels personal, something shifts.
We spend less time guessing, comparing, and trying to make ourselves fit a mold—and more time feeling comfortable in our own skin.
Because authentic beauty isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about discovering what makes you feel like yourself.
That’s the philosophy behind the Elite Brow Approach: preserving your natural features, refining what works, and helping you build a brow routine that feels beautiful, realistic, and sustainable.
✨ If you’ve been questioning your brows or struggling to find a shape that feels right for you, the New Guest Signature Brow Design Experience at Elite Eyebrows Stone Oak is a wonderful place to begin.
We’ll explore your preferences, natural brow pattern, and goals to create a personalized approach that helps you feel more confident in the mirror and in everyday life.
Your brows don’t have to follow a trend. They can simply feel like you. 🤍

Have you ever avoided a beauty service because of a bad reaction with your skin?
One of my newer guests shared that when she was just 18, a waxing service left her skin red, raw, and breaking out in hives.
The experience stayed with her for years, and she avoided salons altogether.
That changed when her daughter started coming to Elite for her brows and upper lip. After seeing how her daughter’s skin recovered following her appointments, she slowly built up the courage to book one for herself.
I initially thought she was there for her daughter again. But she walked in alone and told me the appointment was for her. 🤍
Today, she visits regularly, and we’re exploring services that help her feel good about her beauty while taking her skin sensitivities into consideration.
Her story is a reminder that a misaligned beauty experience can affect more than your skin. It can affect your willingness to trust someone again.
That’s why screening is an important part of the Elite experience.
Skin sensitivities, previous reactions, current skin conditions, medications, and other relevant factors can influence which hair-removal methods may be appropriate. No method is right for everyone, and even with precautions, reactions can still occur.
That’s why I’ve incorporated service consent forms into my process. They help guests understand potential risks, share relevant concerns, and make informed decisions before we begin.
Because personalized beauty isn’t just about the result.
It’s about understanding your needs, respecting your concerns, and making guided decisions together.
If you’ve been hesitant to revisit a beauty service because of a previous reaction—or you’re simply unsure which approach may be suitable for your skin—I’d love to help you explore your options.

What inspired Elite’s beauty style? LIFE. 🤍
A perfect example is the story behind these impromptu photos.
I went to a networking event with absolutely no idea there would be a photo booth offering complimentary headshots.
When I signed up, I told the gentleman:
“Man, I wish I would’ve known! I would’ve come more dolled up.” 😅
His response?
“You look perfectly presentable.”
So I took him at his word.
Instead of worrying about being “photo ready,” I decided to pose as my candid, everyday self.
The women at the booth gave me their creative input, we had fun with it, and somehow these became some of my favorite photos.
Why?
Because this was the first time I had ever taken professional photos wearing the makeup I actually wear in everyday life.
Simple.
Classic.
Authentic.
Women often tell me:
“You look so natural… and still look completely put together.”
I realized…
This is exactly what I want my beauty style to communicate.
Not perfection.
Not a look that requires hours of preparation.
But what beauty can realistically look like in real life.
For me, timeless beauty is intentional without being complicated. It enhances what is already there, while allowing your personality to come through.
And I believe that matters because when women can actually see themselves in the beauty being presented to them, it creates something more meaningful than inspiration.
It creates possibility.
You don’t have to look like anyone else to feel beautiful.
Your makeup doesn’t have to be complicated to be impactful.
And your beauty doesn’t have to be perfect to be worth showing up for.
Time is more precious than perfection.
And your radiant presence is already enough. ✨
That’s why I created Personalized Makeup Lessons at Elite.
Together, we can curate simple, timeless makeup solutions around your features, your preferences, and your daily life—so getting ready feels less like a chore and more like something enjoyable.
If you’re ready to discover what that can look like for you, I’d love to welcome you to a Personalized Makeup Lesson at Elite Eyebrows & Makeup Stone Oak. 🤍

Have you ever looked back at an old beauty look and thought, “What was I thinking?” 🙈
In 2008, during one of my training days at SENNA Cosmetics, my then-boss Eugenia pulled me aside about my bright teal eyeshadow.
I was still transitioning out of my MAC days as a newly licensed esthetician, and my answer to her question was very telling.
She asked, “When people ask you about your eyeshadow, what are you going to say?”
I said, “Whatever colors you have.”
But that wasn’t the point.
I was representing a different brand, and my edgy makeup style wasn’t necessarily aligned with the image SENNA wanted to communicate.
At the time, I didn’t fully understand the lesson.
I do now.
Our relationship with beauty evolves as we do.
Our features change.
Our lifestyles change.
Our preferences change.
And sometimes, the things we once loved simply don’t represent who we are today.
As I’ve matured and become more aware of my own features, I’ve developed a much deeper appreciation for timeless beauty—not because bold or creative beauty is wrong, but because I understand how personal beauty really is.
Women have told me that when they see beauty that doesn’t feel relatable to them, it can create distance before they are comfortable having a conversation.
For women who already feel underserved or unsure about beauty, that matters.
I’ve had to learn that my role isn’t to convince women to love the beauty I love.
It’s to create enough trust for them to tell me what they love.
That means appreciating beauty diversity, asking better questions, and remembering that every woman is allowed to be in a different beauty season.
Your beauty doesn’t have to stay the same to remain authentic.
You get to evolve. 🤍
If your beauty preferences have changed—or you’re simply unsure what feels right for you now—a Brow or Makeup Consultation at Elite Eyebrows Stone Oak is a beautiful place to begin.
Let’s explore what feels like you today.
Beauty is unique. Beauty is personal. Beauty is a process.✨

Have you ever wondered why threading is different from waxing?
Threading is one of the most misunderstood methods of facial hair removal in the Western world.
Many women first heard about it in the 90s, when it gained visibility through Hollywood. Yet its history reaches much further back, with longstanding traditions in the Middle East and South Asia.
Despite its popularity, many women still haven’t experienced it, aren’t quite sure how it works, or have misconceptions about the technique.
Let’s clear up a few things.
First, no, threading doesn’t involve sewing needles. 😅
It uses a twisted cotton thread to catch and remove unwanted hair with precision, without applying wax or other hair-removal products to the skin.
And that’s what makes it so fascinating!
Threading is more than hair removal. It’s an art form.
The technique allows for focused, controlled hair removal, making it a wonderful option for women who prefer a more targeted approach, including those with skin sensitivities.
I especially appreciate its versatility. We can refine brows, detail the upper lip, clean up the chin, or address other facial areas while being intentional about what stays and what goes.
Because facial hair removal should include…
Understanding your features, respecting your natural growth patterns, and knowing when a little refinement is all you need.
When women have experienced rushed services, unnecessary hair removal, or irritation from methods that didn’t suit them, finding a more personalized approach can make a difference.
At Elite, our approach to threading is rooted in focused attention, guided technique, and an understanding that every face is different.
If you’ve been curious about threading, or you’re looking for a more intentional way to maintain facial hair, I’d love to introduce you to Precision Detailing at Elite.
Together, we can explore the areas you’d like to address and create a personalized experience that prioritizes your comfort, your preferences, and the details that make you… you. 🤍

Have you ever looked back at a photograph and remembered not just how you looked, but how you felt in that moment?
During a recent visit, one of my guests shared a story about an experience that had stayed with her for years.
It happened around the time of her family portraits. Her brows had been shaped into a very thin, rounded style, and she simply didn’t like how they looked.
She acknowledged that the average person probably wouldn’t have noticed anything wrong or thought her brows looked bad.
But she noticed.
And every time she looks at those family photos, she’s reminded of how that experience made her feel.
Sometimes, what seems like a small beauty detail to someone else can become a lasting part of how we remember an important moment.
Family portraits, weddings, celebrations, holidays, and everyday photographs capture more than our appearance. They preserve memories, emotions, and chapters of our lives.
And when we don’t feel comfortable with how we look, that feeling can become part of the memory, too.
This is why I believe beauty should begin with understanding.
Every woman has her own preferences, comfort level, and relationship with her appearance.
The difference often comes down to listening, communicating, and understanding what beauty means to the person in the chair.
Because the goal is to help a woman feel good about the way she sees herself, both in the mirror and in the memories she keeps. 🤍
With the holidays and special occasions approaching, it’s a meaningful time to revisit your beauty routine and consider what makes you feel most like yourself.
Whether you’re looking for more balanced brows or makeup that photographs beautifully without feeling overdone, a Brow or Makeup Consultation at Elite Eyebrows Stone Oak is a place to start.
Together, we’ll explore your preferences, features, and goals to create a personalized approach that feels natural, timeless, and true to you.
Because photographs may last a lifetime, but the confidence you feel in those moments matters just as much.
Let’s make sure your beauty reflects the memories you want to keep. ✨

Have you ever looked at your brows and thought, “I know they could look better… I just don’t know how”?
A new guest recently came to Elite after a longtime client referred her and said I would have a “field day” with her brows. 😅
She arrived, we sat down for a consultation, and as we talked, she shared that she had been trying to attain a “prettier shape.”
She’s had previous brow work done that didn’t quite feel right—along with years of maintaining them herself.
Then she mentioned something else that caught my attention.
Two previous hairdressers had lightened her naturally dark brows, and her kids immediately noticed the difference.
They didn’t think the lighter tone flattered her.
And I understood why.
When trying to create the appearance of more fullness in naturally dark brows, lightening the very feature that gives them their natural presence may not be the most intuitive approach.
Instead, we worked with what she had.
The right brow tint helped restore the definition she felt she had lost, while a balanced shape brought more structure to her natural features.
But we didn’t stop there.
I also showed her new ways to enhance her brows at home, so she could understand how to maintain the look herself.
When women learn how to work with their natural features instead of trying to force them into a particular mold, beauty can become much less confusing.
And that shift can influence more than the brows.
It can change how you approach your daily routine, how confident you feel getting ready, and how you see yourself when you look in the mirror.
You can even see it in her expression.
She’s smiling with her eyes. 🤍
If you’ve been wanting brows that feel balanced and beautiful again—the New Guest Signature Brow Design Experience at Elite Eyebrows Stone Oak is a wonderful place to start.
We’ll talk about your brows, your preferences, and what you’re hoping to achieve, then create a personalized approach that makes sense for you.
You don’t have to keep fighting with your brows. You just need to understand them. ✨

Have you ever wanted to try a threading service again… but a past experience made you hesitant?
One of my newer guests has been coming to me for her eyebrows, and as we’ve gotten to know each other, she shared that she had been interested in trying full-face threading.
But every time she wanted to adjust her appointment online, she would hesitate.
Her previous experience had left her feeling uncomfortable with her appearance. The provider had removed her entire sideburn area and created a very defined hairline—far more than she had intended.
It didn’t feel like her.
Rather than jumping right into a full-face service, we talked about starting smaller.
Targeted areas.
Focused attention.
One step at a time.
That gave her the opportunity to experience the process, communicate what she liked, and become comfortable with what was being removed before deciding whether she wanted to expand the service.
That’s why genuine relationship-building matters so much at Elite.
When a woman feels heard, respected, and safe communicating her preferences, she can make beauty decisions confidently.
And because everyone’s comfort level is different, we also offer OTC topical anesthetic as an optional comfort measure for hair-removal services, along with focused attention, sanitation and safety practices, and personalized care throughout the experience.
Because your comfort matters just as much as the result.
If you’ve been curious about facial threading but have hesitated because of a previous experience—or simply because you’re unsure where to start—Our Precision Detailing Services at Elite Eyebrows & Makeup Stone Oak allows us to approach facial hair removal intentionally and personally.
We can start with the areas that matter most to you and create a plan around your features, your preferences, and your comfort level.
Sometimes, the most meaningful beauty experience begins with simply feeling safe enough to try again. 🤍

A milestone I truly didn’t see coming. 🦅✨
I’m incredibly grateful to share that I was named one of two winners in the Bronze category of the Soaring Eagles Program with Inspiring Champions!
This was a 6-month educational commitment where we took the tools and strategies we learned through Champ Camp and put them into practice—inside our businesses, our leadership, and our day-to-day decision making.
And honestly?
This recognition was a complete surprise.
The program was incredibly challenging, and simply making it through putting everything into practice felt like an accomplishment in its own right.
This recognition was incredibly meaningful, because it reminded me that every win matters.
Sometimes we’re so focused on where we’re trying to go that we forget to acknowledge how far we’ve already come.
It’s easy to look at someone else’s success and wonder why you’re not there yet.
But I’ve learned that business—and life—isn’t a race against someone else’s timeline.
Your journey is your own.
This experience affirmed for me that the small decisions, uncomfortable growth, new systems, difficult conversations, continued education, and moments when I questioned myself were all part of moving Elite forward.
I’m incredibly grateful to the entire Inspiring Champions team for your dedication to helping beauty professionals build businesses that are not only profitable, but sustainable.
You’ve created an environment that challenges us to become more intentional about the businesses we’re building and the lives we’re creating around them.
If there’s one thing I would encourage other beauty professionals to consider, it’s this:
Don’t underestimate the value of investing in yourself and your business education.
You can be incredibly talented behind the chair and still need support with the business, leadership, systems, and strategy required to truly sustain that talent.
Thank you Inspiring Champions for this recognition, for the lessons, the challenges, and the growth. 🤍
Bronze complete.
Now it’s time to train for GOLD. 🦅🏆
