We added a mix of lowlights and highlights to bring her color back to life with lots of dimension. Because let’s be honest… there’s never highs without any lows. 😂 Iykyk.

Then I custom-colored Hair Extensions to match her hair exactly and added them for length and fullness. The goal is always a blend so seamless that you can’t tell what’s hers and what’s the extensions.

And when you can’t tell where her hair ends and the extensions begin… that’s my favorite kind of transformation. 💕

Almost 15 years ago, my mom opened the salon that I just bought! I was just a spring chicken starting my career and so eager to learn.
It was nice to have a guaranteed job no matter how much of a delinquent I was (kidding… mostly 😅).

Enjoy these throwbacks which are equal parts embarrassing and emotional. The growth I’ve had since then is INSANE, and I feel so lucky and honored to continue to be following in my mom’s footsteps and holding her legacy strong. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. 🫶🏼
