39 YEARS ❤️ Okay friends… this time it really IS our anniversary.

A little while ago, we made a post asking a simple question: Could you work with your spouse every day like Gino and I do?

Somehow that turned into everyone wishing us a happy anniversary.

We loved all the sweet wishes, but it actually wasn’t our anniversary yet.

August 8th is.

On August 8, 1987, Gino and I said I do. And here we are, 39 years later.

For our anniversary, we decided to do something a little different. We each wrote down 39 things we appreciate about the other person.

And wow. What an exercise.

Because after 39 years, there is a lot of life in between. Beautiful seasons. Hard seasons. Raising kids. Building businesses. Growing. Changing. Laughing. Disagreeing. Forgiving. Learning. And continuing to choose our way forward.

It can be so easy to notice what someone does wrong, what irritates us, or what we wish were different.

But when you intentionally sit down and write what you appreciate about someone, something happens.

I kept thinking about the Grinch when his little heart grew three sizes.

Appreciation changes the lens. And somehow, it changes your heart too.

I would encourage anyone who has shared a lot of life with another person to try this. You don’t need an anniversary. Write down what you appreciate about them and see what happens to your heart.

39 years, Gino.

Not perfect. Not always easy. But ours.

And there is so much to appreciate.

When you're here, you're not a booking. You're not a service ticket. You are someone who trusted us with something personal, and we don't take that lightly. Not ever.

At Eden Organics, we don’t usually cut children’s hair. It’s simply never been part of what we offer.

But one day, a sweet mom called and shared her story. Pam listened… and something in her heart said, “ yes “ we can make an exception.

Then her little one’s walked through our door.

From the moment they sat in the chair, the entire energy of the salon shifted. It became one of those appointments that stays with you long after the haircuts are over.

That one “yes” turned into something much bigger.

Today, that beautiful family is part of our Eden Organics family, and we’re so grateful they found us.

It’s funny how life works sometimes. The rules we make are important… but every once in a while, someone comes along and reminds us that leading with our hearts can create something even more beautiful than we planned.
