Someone pinch me!! I’m joining Schwarzkopf Professional USA at ✨THE BTC SHOW✨ in Fort Lauderdale this month.
Getting to represent a brand I love while learning from some of the most respected artists and educators in the industry including Chris Appleton Tracey Cunningham & CARLY ZANONI • Color & Placement Expert For Hairstylists is sooo surreal!
This weekend isn’t just about the stage.
It’s about the new friendships we make backstage.
The techniques shared between classes.
The artists who inspire one another.
The ideas that push our industry forward.
Who else is ready for a weekend full of education, creativity, inspiration, and connecting with so many talented hairstylists from around the world?? 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️
If you’ll be at the BTC show, I’d love to meet you! Come say hi! 👋
See you in Fort Lauderdale! 🤍✈️

What’s better than a fresh fade with a bleach & tone??
Schwarzkopf Professional USA new BlondMe 9+ 20vol processed for a total of 1 hr. No heat.
Then used the BlondMe toner drops in ice 🧊 to tone. So easy just mix into your fav conditioner and mask. Treat & tone? Yes please. ✔️

Ever wonder why Schwarzkopf Professional USA Silver Whites turns bright purple or pink while it’s processing? 👀
It’s not a mistake, it’s chemistry doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.
Silver Whites shades (like Grey Lilac and Silver) are formulated with strong violet and blue pigments designed to counteract underlying yellow and pale gold in pre-lightened or naturally white hair.
When the color first oxidizes, those violet pigments are highly visible, especially on porous or very light hair. That’s why you see that bright lavender/pink hue during processing.
As it continues to develop:
• The oxidative dyes expand and anchor inside the cortex
• The violet balances the remaining warmth
• The visible brightness softens as the pigment settles
The reason it looks intense at first is because pale blonde or white hair has very little underlying pigment left so the corrective tones show boldly before they neutralize and refine.
Grey Lilac + Silver specifically are designed to:
• Cancel soft yellow
• Add controlled cool reflection
• Maintain brightness without going flat
If your base isn’t lifted clean enough (true level 9/10), those same violet tones can grab unevenly or appear muddy, which is why the lift matters just as much as the toner.
So yes, it may look bright purple mid-process.
No, it won’t stay that way.
And yes, it’s supposed to do that. ✨
Don’t let it scare you into rinsing too early, as long as you know you formulated correctly then let it do its job 🩶
That’s controlled neutralization at work.

Inspiration photos here’s my take on them 👇
Inspiration photos are one of the most valuable tools you can bring to your appointment but probably not for the reason you think.
As stylists, we’re not just looking at the overall color.
We’re analyzing every detail.
How light is the blonde?
How much natural depth is left between the highlights?
Is the dimension subtle or bold?
Is the tone warm, neutral, or cool? (This is super important because a lot of people think they want ‘cooler’ toned hair until you show them a reference photo and they really want brighter)
Is the root lived-in or highlighted to the scalp?
How does the placement create the overall look?
Then we compare all of that to your starting canvas.
Your natural level.
Your color history.
Your previous lightener.
Your hair’s condition.
What’s realistically achievable in one appointment.
The goal isn’t to copy someone else’s hair. Because no two heads of hair are the same.
The goal is to understand what you love about it and recreate that feeling in a way that works for their hair.
A successful consultation isn’t about saying, “Yes, I can do this.”
It’s about asking the right questions, setting realistic expectations, and creating a personalized plan to get you as close to your vision as possible.
I’d say we understood the assignment. ✨
