You can find me in the office:

See you soon 🤍

Nothing makes me happier than helping my patients get back to doing the things they love. 🎾

Pain doesn’t have to mean giving up the activities that keep you active and feeling like yourself. Treatment is always individualized, and may include acupuncture, cupping, movement, and bodywork depending on what your body needs.

So grateful for this kind review and for the trust my patients place in me. 🤍

What is Dry Needling? And Why You Don’t Need to Fear It ✨

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that dry needling is completely different from acupuncture. In reality, dry needling is a form of acupuncture that uses the same sterile, single-use filament needles. The difference is in the treatment approach and the goal.

Dry needling focuses on treating trigger points, tight muscles, and movement restrictions to decrease pain, improve mobility, and restore function.

I also want to address something important about safety.

I earned my Doctorate in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, which included extensive education in anatomy, physiology, neurovascular structures, and safe needling techniques. In California, healthcare professionals cannot simply take a weekend course and begin performing dry needling. As a licensed acupuncturist, my training involved years of education and thousands of supervised clinical hours, giving me a thorough understanding of where it is safe to needle and how to avoid important anatomical structures.

Does it hurt? Usually much less than people expect. You may feel a quick muscle twitch or a brief ache—that’s often the muscle releasing tension. It’s also normal to feel a little sore afterward, similar to how you might feel after a workout.

Whether you’re dealing with chronic muscle tension, sports injuries, headaches, neck or back pain, or limited mobility, dry needling can be an incredibly effective treatment.

The goal isn’t to create pain—it’s to help your body move better, heal more efficiently, and get you back to doing what you love with confidence.

What is Myofascial Decompression with Movement?

Myofascial decompression uses suction cups to gently lift and create space within the tissues. When combined with movement, it helps restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve function.

✨ Why I use it:
• Improve range of motion
• Reduce pain and tension
• Release fascial restrictions
• Improve circulation
• Restore healthy movement patterns
• Help you move with greater ease and less discomfort

Whether you’re dealing with shoulder stiffness, back pain, athletic tightness, or feeling “stuck” in your movement, myofascial decompression with movement can be a powerful tool to help you get back to doing what you love.
