Black box dye, previous lightener and 4.5 hours to do this 😂 had me sweating but luckily she was flexible and we kept the ends dark because there was no way those would last long enough to put green on them. I wish yall could see this in person because it is GORGEOUS. used and for the green and to make everything else happen 🐍

Color corrections aren’t always easily spotted but with some patience mixed in with a bit of perfectionism then we can get your hair right😍 all done with color and lightener 🫶

Sometimes what seems like an all over color is more complicated than it may seem. We wanted to go lighter without bleach and we wanted copper tones… which can easily turn into hot roots. So instead of slapping a color on and calling it a day, I formulated my brain out and then glossed her and needless to say we are obsessed.

Never mind the wings from the wind, but it had been more than a year since she got her hair cut and honestly it grew out beautifully so luckily she has a cut to maintain ;)

Usually we just do a dark brown retouch but this time we got to add in some soft balayage highlights. I love how much it softened up her look. Gorgeous.

Soft and subtle for the summer? Yes please.

Usually the before picture shows how challenging the transformation was but this time I was super impressed with the fade out of her hair. This before was done 4 months ago and while it has warmth it didn’t look brassy and I used Shades ALK which is a DEMI! This time we wanted to go brighter for the summer but less stripey so I did super fine highlights all over with some lowlights. She loves it and so do I.
