And my answer was yes.

I had to cancel my last client of the day—a $300 appointment—to handle a family emergency. And instead of allowing fear about the money to take over, I chose to trust God.

I’m learning to walk with a different kind of faith now. Not faith that only trusts God when everything is going according to plan ...but faith that says, even when I can’t see how it’s going to work out, I know who my Provider is.

Put God first. Take care of what He has entrusted to you. And trust Him with the rest.

He loves you. He sees you. And He knows exactly what you need. 🤍🙏🏽

1️⃣ Plan your post-op lymphatic care BEFORE surgery.
Don’t wait until you’re swollen, uncomfortable and trying to find somebody last minute. Talk to your surgeon about when you’re cleared to start, then find an experienced post-op provider and get your appointments lined up.

2️⃣ Have a backup compression garment.
Don’t assume the one garment you have is going to work perfectly. Your swelling and measurements change throughout recovery. Have another appropriate option available but don’t size down or increase compression without guidance from your surgical team.

3️⃣ Your recovery setup matters.
Have somebody available to help you, especially those first few days. And PLEASE think about nutrition and hydration before surgery. Your body is healing from a major procedure and it needs adequate protein, calories, fluids and nutrients.
