As an educator, she also feels that education is what helps us grow and not to become complacent in what we do. Deshonica specializes in Healthy Hair Care, including natural hair, cut, color and understanding that a complete look is from the inside out, so she continues to help build the strength of her clients and staff from the inside out. She travels national and international, educating cosmetologist as well as future cosmetologist on the complete usage of Design Essentials salon systems, as well as offering personal classes. She has been featured in Mazza, Passion, and Black Hair Care. She has worked on the set for Sunday’s Best, maintaining and creating looks for contestants. She attended Vidal Salon for advanced training and continues to apply herself to being the best that she can be by always attending classes and seminars to keep her mind going to the next level.
