Another photograph from the Little Marie collection, this porch scene includes Marie's father, Chas, alongside Law and Chas' father. Family photographs like this help connect the generations, giving us a rare look at the people who surrounded Little Marie as she grew up in the early 1900s.
This unidentified man was photographed in what appears to be a warm or tropical setting, though the exact location is unknown. The restored and colorized portrait is animated to bring movement back to the scene while preserving the original details.

This penny photograph sheet by Joseph E. Williams from New Athens, Ohio, features three completely different subjects. The top row follows a young boy posing with his dog, the middle row captures another young man experimenting with different expressions, and the bottom row features yet another sitter doing the same.
These photographs were taken in Maine in the early 1900s and appear to show the same group of people gathering for a series of portraits. As the photographer rearranged the scene, some individuals stepped out, others stepped in, and familiar faces reappeared throughout the session.
