Sara is a licensed cosmetologist with seven years of beauty industry experience. Specializing in coloring rich brunettes, custom reds, coppers, dimensional color, and grey coverage, Sara loves creating beautiful, personalized hair with depth, warmth, and movement. She also loves long, layered, 90s-inspired haircuts that add personality and effortless shape to every look. Known for her attention to detail and thoughtful approach, Sara takes the time to understand each client's vision and create a space where they can feel comfortable being themselves. For her, doing hair is about more than the finished look. It's about building connections, sharing laughs, and helping every client leave her chair feeling confident.
Originally born in Serbia and raised in Portland, Sara embraces her Balkan roots and loves exploring new places, trying new recipes and restaurants, and spending time with her partner, their dog Louis, and their cat, Mr. Whiskers.
We are excited to have Sara join our Scarborough location as she brings her professionalism and her talent to our community! ❤️

Alex, cosmetologist and owner of Studio Pixie, creates customized color, lived-in blondes, dimensional brunettes, grey coverage, balayage, and offers amazing signature blowouts including scalp treatments and massage. Her passion is creating healthy, beautiful hair that suits her guest’s lifestyle. After graduating from Cosmetology School in 2014 in Colorado, she worked as an apprentice under Jeff Novak at Lather Salon in Aspen. Alex loves establishing meaningful, long-term relationships with her clients. She believes there is beauty and magic woven into the small moments every day, and she brings that philosophy into her work and her life. Studio Pixie feels warm, welcoming and a little whimsical! Her goal is to create a place where guests can slow down, feel nurtured and leave loving their hair while also feeling lighter and more confident than when they walked in. Alex believes the best stylists are lifelong students who continue to seek out opportunities to grow and evolve behind the chair. Throughout her career, Alex has expanded her education with advanced training in Keratin Complex smoothing treatments, balayage and dimensional color techniques, Paul Mitchell men’s cutting and styling as well as tailored haircutting. In addition, she is Nova Lash certified with a Lash Lift and Tint certification as well.
In addition to building her business that reflects her creativity and authenticity, when not behind the chair, Alex is busy being a mom and creating memories with her son, Jackson. You can find them chasing the sunshine, swimming at the lake, hiking trails, skiing or gathering with friends and family. She is happiest outdoors, she loves cooking, live music, comedy, fresh flowers and the moon.
We're very grateful to have Alex back at Mint with us after she took some time off having her son. Alex was previously at our Falmouth location for a few years where she was equally loved by co-workers and clients because of her talent, bubbly personality and positive outlook! ❤️
