✨ Scar Camouflage Progress ✨

Every scar heals differently after surgery, and this before-and-after is the perfect example.

In the before photo, the scar in front of my client’s ear had fully matured and turned white, making it ready for scar camouflage.

The scar behind her ear, however, was still discolored and textured.

Even though both scars resulted from the same procedure and healed at the same time, they responded very differently.

For her first session, we chose an inkless treatment behind the ear. Our goal was to stimulate collagen and elastin production, encouraging the skin to restore its natural color while improving the texture of the scar.

The after photo shows exactly why treatment plans should be customized. The skin behind her ear responded beautifully —the texture improved, and healthy pigment began returning to the area.

With the scar now in a much healthier state, we were able to confidently implant pigment during her second session.

Every scar heals differently, which is why patience and proper aftercare are so important throughout the journey. For reference, these photos were taken after two sessions once the client was 100% healed, and just before her third [and likely final] treatment
