Ok so you hate me and I suck at my job ✨
Jk (kinda) 😂
So how much of who you are is actually YOU, and how does that translate to your business?
Carl Jung called the evolution of self, the process of becoming more whole, "individuation". And I think it's such an interesting topic.
Because I don't believe who we are at our core and how we navigate our business are two separate things.💡
What is one expectation or belief that came from your external world that you no longer live by?
✨I love the brain and the becoming and the business and the raw s**t that makes us human, and INTERESTING✨
Srry for my hiatus, I'm back....for now
I'm at the point in my career where I just want clients that feel like friends. I got nothin else to prove to anyone 😂
The dry desert weather had my skin PARCHED.

🤍 barely-there scent

The hawk has landed

And the hawk is eating her way around the city with no ragrets and dealing with the stomach ache later

More BEING. Less DOING. Let's see where the wind blows me
Your business is an extension of you
You pour so much time, energy, love, money, resources into getting something off the ground and it doesn't stop there because now it has to be maintained.
It's hard not to get attached, it's literally like a non-human baby
And then in time you expand. Something feels off, or sticky, or not in alignment. Or you change your mind. Goals shift, new perspectives form. Life demands something different of you.
Now this creation of yours that was once such a big part of your identity, doesn't seem to fit.
You feel like you're letting down clients / customers /employees / coworkers / your community
But you also know it has ran its course and it's time for a new creation to blossom
And in that liminal space where one chapter closes and maybe the other hasn't totally begun, you feel sadness and maybe a wave of "did I make the right decision"
That's normal, and doesn't mean you chose wrong
Idk why there's stigma around this. Maybe because we're programmed to just plow forward onto the next thing without much reflection
but I feel like it's a great topic of convo
I do not make the rules
