She came in inspired by Dua Lipa’s red hair. We looked at her canvas and went copper instead. 🍁

Her natural level 7 and grown-out balayage already had warm orange sitting in the lengths — the exact undercoat copper needs to glow. Chasing a true red would’ve fought her hair. Working with it gave us this.

Here’s exactly what we used and why 👇

🔸 Framesi Decolor B No-Dust Powder + 20 vol
Open-air balayage through the regrowth only. Stopped at orange-yellow on purpose — that warm stage is copper’s best friend. Pale yellow gives you flat copper that fades fast.

🔸 Framcolor 2001 6RN + INTENSE Copper .044 · 15 vol (1:2)
Permanent root where the hair is virgin and strong. The 6RN grips evenly on virgin regrowth; the INTENSE .044 locks the copper tone faster and can’t creep darker while you’re painting the lengths. Non-progressive — real safety net.

🔸 Framesi Eclectic demi 7RDE + 6RDE · Extra Activator (1:2)
Ammonia-free on the porous, pre-lightened lengths. Same target tone, kinder physics — deposits without further structural stress, and fades soft apricot-gold instead of brassy. Extra Activator for vivid results.

🔸 Eclectic 5D Color Gloss 8GC/8.34 · 5D Activator (1:1)
Bowl application root to ends. Unified both color zones into one continuous surface and gave the glass-shine finish that makes copper photograph like this.

One principle the whole way through: right chemistry, right zone. Permanent where she’s strong, deposit-only where she’s been through it.

Gloss refresh at 3–4 weeks. Full copper refresh at 6–8. Zero buildup, zero damage. ☀️
