While you're at it, go see the Ballet. Stunning!!!! We live in a vibrant city full of art and culture. Go get it.
"...there was a gasp from the audience as the curtain went up on 17 dancers, clad in a blue as soft as a whisper, holding up a hand as if to feel the moonlight, as the majestic yearning of Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings in C major wafted over them. Time seemed to stop, holding as still as the dancers in that opening moment. What a perfect way to begin a season, to start anew." Moira Macdonald in The Seattle Times >> https://bit.ly/SeattleTimesSerenadeReview
We dare you not to gasp when the curtain goes up on Serenade! Onstage through October 4.

Imagine being a speaker at a fundraiser for disadvantaged sick kids, and then getting up on the microphone to complain about taxes in our state, and complain about our governor. Then imagine a crowd full of wealthy people (supposedly there because they care about poor sick children) cheering this misguided guy's speech. WTF. Start a gratitude journal, people. We live in a beautiful city. If you don't like it, move to Arkansas where the Walmart headquarters are.
“I told my wife I was going to buy an envelope. She says, ‘You're not a poor man. Why don't you go online and buy a hundred envelopes and put them in the closet?’ So I pretend not to hear her and go out to get an envelope because I'm going to have a hell of a good time in the process of buying one envelope. I meet a lot of people and see some great-looking babes. A fire engine goes by, and I give them the thumbs up. I ask a woman what kind of dog that is. Of course, the computers will do us out of that. And what the computer people don't realize—or they don't care—is we're dancing animals. You know, we love to move around. And we're not supposed to dance at all anymore.” ---Kurt Vonnegut
