Pinup Salon is an intimate Seattle hair salon experience for people who like a little quality, one-on-one time with their stylist, minus the hubbub of a high-traffic salon. If you like the idea of having your own personal stylist all to yourself, come on by, put your feet up and let us pamper you.

Teal this vivid never goes straight onto natural hair. It gets lifted first, then the color goes on top.

So a fashion shade takes more chair time than a regular color, and Jen wants to see your hair before she quotes it. Fashion color sits on her specialty list at Pinup in West Seattle, right next to lived-in balayage.

Park in the lot on Fauntleroy Way.

Thinking about a vivid? Send Pinup a photo of your hair as it is now. And book a consultation through the link in our bio.

Your curl pattern isn't the same all over your head. It's tighter in some spots, looser in others, and none of that shows once the hair has been washed and combed straight.

So Pinup asks you to walk in with your hair down and in its natural curls. Product in it is fine. They need to see it dry.

This curly cut was by Denika at Pinup in West Seattle, just off the bridge. Call 206 932 5077.

This is a K-tip extension removal. The bonds come out one at a time with a solvent and a tool, never with scissors.

Pinup in West Seattle quotes removal at consultation, because the price depends on how many bonds are in and how long they have been sitting. Park in the free lot on Fauntleroy. You'll be here a while.

Wearing extensions you didn't get here? Ask for a removal consult when you book.

Jen is our Ring Leader at Pinup.

Six specialties sit under her name. Curl cutting, pixies, men's cuts, lived-in balayage, fashion color, dry cutting. She still takes all of it.

Pinup girls framed on the walls, a Marilyn Monroe picture by the shampoo bowl, four dedicated stylists located just off the West Seattle bridge. Jen works in it every week.

Book with Jen or any of our amazing team at the link in our bio.

This curly cut was cut dry, not wet.

Curls shrink as they dry. Cut them wet and you're guessing at the finished length. So Pinup washes, diffuses, then cuts once every curl has dropped where it sits.

We are curl experts here at Pinup located on Fauntleroy Way SW just off the West Seattle bridge.

Copper is the color everyone screenshots and the one they talk themselves out of the fastest.

Here is what the saved photos never tell you. Copper is not one shade. We can take it bright and glassy, deep and rusted, or right in between, and we build it around your skin so it reads warm instead of orange. It also fades like a sunset, not like a warning light, so the grow out stays pretty.

Which of these coppers would you actually wear?

You are not booking a haircut. You are picking whose chair gets your next two hours.

That is Jen, Bre, and Lindsey. Jen opened this little curl shop off the bridge and still reads every message herself. Bre lives for dimensional brunettes that look expensive and grow out soft. Lindsey does the blondes and the extensions people cross the water for.

Whose chair are you booking first?

Old Hollywood had no flat iron, no clip ins, and better hair than most of us.

Reposting this one from because the pinup era is our whole heart. Those curls, that volume, all set by hand and a lot of patience. Good news, we still know how to build a vintage set the modern way, so it holds through dinner instead of falling by the appetizers.

Would you wear a look like this out, yes or no?

Online booking will let you grab a 90 minute partial foil when the service you want is a full head balayage. That one takes 2.5 hours.

It surfaces when you walk in. Now it's either the partial you actually booked, or a same day cancellation fee to rebook the balayage. Neither one is what Jen wants to hand you at the front desk.

Not sure which service you need? Call Pinup in West Seattle at 206 932 5077 and book it that way.
