I had an intricate swirl design in mind, but my batter decided to thicken up WAY faster than expected. At that point, you either panic… or adapt! 😅
Soapmaking is a perfect reminder that experience doesn’t mean everything will always go perfectly. Temperature, fragrance oils, timing, and a dozen other little things can change how your batter behaves.
So no, this swirl didn’t turn out the way I envisioned—but that’s part of being a soapmaker! You work with what you’ve got and keep going. 💕🧼
