After nearly a decade, I closed the door to my studio for the last time.

It’s hard to even put into words what this business has meant to me. I started with a lot of prayer, an idea, a whole lot of hope, and absolutely no way of knowing what it would become.

And somehow… it worked.

What started as an idea became a career, a business I was incredibly proud of, and such a huge part of my life for almost ten years.

To every single person who ever stepped through my doors, sat in my chair, trusted me with your face, referred a friend, shared a post, left a review, came back year after year, or simply cheered me on, thank you. Truly. You are the reason I was able to do this for as long as I did.

So many of you started as clients and became friends. I’ve gotten to hear about your weddings, babies, careers, heartbreaks, celebrations and everything in between. We shared a lot of life in that chair, and those are the parts of this business I’ll carry with me.

I knew this day was coming, but somehow it still doesn’t feel real. This business has been woven into my identity and my everyday life for so long. Walking away is bittersweet, but I also know it’s time for a new season.

I’m leaving this chapter with a very full heart
