pretty sure every estie has had this exact convo 😂
I’m a BIG believer that if something can be done easily at home, it doesn’t belong in my treatment room.
So how do I take facials from generic to intentional?
I can’t give away alllll my secrets (not yet, at least), but here’s my blueprint:
🧴One base mask for the main concern
🧪A complementary mask for the secondary concern
💥Boost with powders/serums based on what the skin needs
This is exactly how masking becomes intentional & why no two treatments ever feel the same.
Because if a client can do it at home, what’s the value of seeing a professional? 🤍✨
After all this time in the treatment room, believe me when I say: the skin analysis is the most underrated part of the facial. 🔬
It’s where the real solutions live… but only if you know the right questions to ask.
Any estie can ask “What are your skin concerns today?”
But diving deeper during the consultation will help to spot patterns instead of chasing symptoms.
The right questions help you recognize if a client is dealing with:
💧 Dryness vs Dehydration
💥 Congestion vs Acne
🔎 Sensitivity vs Sensitization
🍂 Seasonal Flare Ups vs Ongoing Concerns
THIS is how treatments stop feeling generic and start feeling intentional💫
Esties, what’s one question you never skip during the consult? 👇
Dear 2025, THANK YOU🙏
You brought clarity, expansion, and moments that changed how I see myself and what’s possible.
I’m extremely grateful for my people, the support, and all the love that continues to surround me.
Closing out this year with a full heart and SO much excitement for what’s coming next ✨
Monday, Tuesday… who even knows? Your skin still deserves the glow ✨😂
Here’s why:
Dermaplaning is a great service, but it’s not for every face, every time.
Here’s when dermaplaning isn’t the right move:
• active or inflamed breakouts, rosacea
• sensitized or compromised skin
• prescription skin meds, antibiotics, blood thinners
• Accutane within the past year
• recent exfoliation, waxing, laser, or peels
• sunburn, open lesions, cold sores, poor healing
• immune or healing concerns
And if it’s your first time? Don’t try it right before a big event.
This isn’t about doing less. It’s about protecting your client and getting the right results.
