“Why can’t I shave before appointments?”
In order to give you the best results from your wax, there has to be at least a 1/4 inch of hair. This way, the wax can attach properly, and pull from the root. If it is any less, your hair will still be on a different cycle, and give inconsistent results.
Comment any more questions you have, and I would be more than happy to answer them!
DON’T SHAVE IN BETWEEN APPOINTMENTS!!! If you want the best possible results from your wax, do not shave in between appointments. It disrupts the hair’s natural cycle and creates a less effective wax!
Just be sure you wait at least 24 hours before any smexy time!!😝
Of course this is just a joke because if mum really fell down the stairs, we’d be seriously worried🫶🏻

❗️Adjustment with Melissa’s waxing services❗️
As of Monday July 6th, appointments such as underarms, upper lip, chin, inner thigh, full butt, stomach full or strip, lower back, back of thighs and vajacial mask will only be listed as ADD ON ONLY options on Melissas service menu. A Brazilian wax, bikini full or bikini line wax will have the be scheduled to book an add on.
PLEASE REMEMBER: Melissa does NOT offer eyebrow waxing, arm waxing or full leg waxing ! 🫶🏼
As we go into our 5th month having Melissa in the studio, My goal when hiring her was to only be a Brazilian wax studio, but I wanted to get her on her feet with having more options and building her clientele. Plus, I know a lot of clients enjoy these options and already schedule these as adds on so it doesn’t affect many people thankfully!

Also, any clients of mine (Justine), please note that Melissa is mastering her technique and you will need to allow yourself more time when booking with Melissa as referenced in the appointment times online and in reminders texts/emails!

At least 3 weeks of growth (1/4 of an inch of hair, equivalent to the size of a grain of rice). I understand some will grow quicker than others so as long the length is there, we’ll be happy to wax you!
