Thank you all for the last three and a half years! It was bitter sweet today packing up and cleaning the office. Without your support I could not have completed my goal of becoming an RN and starting work at the hospital. If I see any of you at work I hope it’s only as visitors.

COMMUNITY STRONG: Car Wash Fundraiser for Karen.

Sierra Vista, this is one of those moments where our community truly comes together for one of our own.

Karen, the owner of Scizzors Hair Salon, a familiar and beloved name here in town,recently had to close her doors as she fights for her life. She has been diagnosed with bladder cancer, pancreatic cancer, and cancer in her pelvis, a diagnosis she received just after Christmas.

Right now, the cost of treatment is overwhelming, $4,000 out of pocket for each chemotherapy session.

Those who know Karen know this: she would never ask for help. That’s why others are stepping up for her,and now it’s our turn, Sierra Vista.

To help keep things running smoothly and safely, attendees are asked to enter from the Canyon side and exit onto Fry Blvd. Please do not back up traffic on Fry while waiting, your cooperation helps keep everyone safe and the event flowing efficiently.

This is a donation-only car wash (rain or shine) with hot dogs and refreshments available all to help raise funds for Karen’s treatments.
