Back Story ⬇️
This beautiful client & new mama came in to see me shortly after receiving a hair coloring service earlier in the week with a different stylist.

She wasn’t super happy with the placement of the blonde and the lack of dimension.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this hair and transform it into a more dimensional color💗

I combined baby lights with balayage then topped it off with a root smudge to create this beautiful blend 🤍

Blonde highlights & root tap with a neutral/buttery toner 🫠

I have a lot of clients that assume a root smudge/root tap will fully cover the highlights and they won’t feel freshened up..

this technique was created to make the transition smoother in between appointments & create a more subtle grow out line.
