✨ Another hair journey update! ✨

This client has naturally gorgeous gray hair, but last year she decided to dabble with henna… and let’s just say, things got a little ORANGE! 😂🧡

Henna can be a tricky one to work with because it can be difficult to safely lighten or remove from the hair, and certain types of henna can react with professional lighteners. So instead of rushing the process, we’ve been taking our time!

We’ve colored her hair copper along the way, and earlier this year we even took her shorter to help remove some of the henna-affected hair. ✂️

Now we’ve finally reached a place where her hair is healthy enough to safely lighten some of the remaining color on her ends. We added low lights to blend everything together, creating a much softer, more natural look. 🤍✨

This is a perfect example of why color corrections and removing old color are a journey—not a one-appointment fix! Sometimes patience is what keeps your hair healthy. 💕

✨ She wanted a CHANGE… so we gave her a whole vibe! ✨

This client came in ready to switch things up, and we had so much fun creating this look! 😍

We added a mix of light blonde, deep brown, and violet highlights throughout for tons of dimension, contrast, and a little pop of fun! 💜

The result? STUNNING. 🤩

✨ The journey to lighter hair begins! ✨

This client has been ready for a change! Over the years, her gray hair was having a hard time holding onto her color, so her hair gradually became darker and darker.

Now she’s ready to head in the opposite direction—lighter, softer, and more dimensional! 🤎➡️✨

We started the process by adding highlights and beginning to lighten her roots. Because we’re lifting years of darker color, we have to work through the warm stages along the way. Going lighter is a process, and we’re taking the time to keep her hair healthy while we do it. 🙌🏼

She’s already loving the progress and is excited to keep working toward her goal of an overall lighter color!

🎓✨ Graduation Hair for a Well-Deserving Girl!

This sweet client has been putting her hair on the back burner for the last 18 months while she’s been working hard in school to become a Licensed Master Social Worker! 👏🏼📚

She finally made it back into my chair for a much-needed highlight refresh—and of course, we had to make her BLONDER for graduation! ✨🤍

I am SO proud of all the hard work she has put in to reach this milestone. And I’m pretty happy I could get her hair back up to par so she can walk across that graduation stage feeling like the beautiful, accomplished woman she is! 🥰

Her highlights had grown out, so instead of going lighter, we added some strategically placed low lights to blend everything together and create a softer, more natural look.
