I'm all about practicing gratitude, especially in November. It's the month to remember to be thankful!

But when you're constantly zapped of energy it's hard to be thankful. When you have no energy you tend to make poor choices. You don't eat as well, you don't get enough sleep, and honestly you aren't a nice person to yourself or to the ones you love.

It's a busy time of year, no doubt! Try to stay present. When someone asks you for something, pause for a moment and go within. Ask yourself if this is something you really want to do.

Stop feeling guilty, make yourself and the ones you love a priority. Practice saying no, and don't be sorry about it! A good sentence to use could be, "Thank you so much for thinking of me to help, but I'm just not able to right now."

See, there was no "I'm sorry," in that sentence. Happy "No-vember" my friends!! ~Amy~
