At Prodigy Hands Custom Wigs, we believe everyone deserves to feel confident, no matter their circumstances.

Some individuals are facing medical hair loss due to cancer, alopecia, lupus, burns, or other conditions. Others simply cannot afford the cost of a quality wig or the medical appointments and copays needed to begin treatment.

That’s why our nonprofit exists.

Through the generosity of donors and sponsors, we help provide both medical wigs and fashion wigs to individuals experiencing financial hardship.

As a reminder, Prodigy Hands Custom Wigs is a nonprofit organization. We do not bill insurance. Medical consultations, insurance billing, and cranial prosthesis services are provided through our partner, Tresses & Trends Wigs.

While Prodigy Hands Custom Wigs continues its mission of helping individuals experiencing medical hair loss through our nonprofit efforts, Tresses & Trends Wigs is our professional medical cranial prosthesis provider dedicated to serving clients with compassion, dignity, and excellence.

At Tresses & Trends, we specialize in custom cranial prostheses (medical wigs) for individuals experiencing hair loss due to:
• Alopecia
• Chemotherapy
• Radiation
• Lupus
• Burns
• Other medical conditions

Our goal is to work alongside medical professionals and insurance providers to help make quality cranial prostheses more accessible while restoring confidence—one crown at a time.

This journey has taken me from being a talented wig maker to becoming a Certified Cranial Prosthesis Specialist, and I’m grateful for every step that has brought me here.

Many of you know Prodigy Hands Custom Wigs as our nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals experiencing medical hair loss regain their confidence.

Through Prodigy Hands, individuals who are unable to afford a cranial prosthesis through insurance or out of pocket will be able to apply for financial assistance and sponsorship opportunities. Our mission is to ensure that finances are never the reason someone goes without the confidence they deserve.

Tresses & Trends is the for-profit arm of Prodigy Hands, created to provide:

💜 Prodigy Hands Custom Wigs is my 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to giving back to the community through education and support.

Through Prodigy Hands Custom Wigs, we:
• Sponsor youth hair braiding classes to help teach valuable skills and inspire future entrepreneurs.
• Help individuals in need access cranial prosthetics. If insurance does not cover the cost, we’ll work to find sponsors or donors who may be able to assist.
• Offer financing options to help make cranial prosthetics more affordable when sponsorship or insurance isn’t available.

My goal has always been bigger than selling wigs. It’s about restoring confidence, creating opportunities, and making sure no one feels alone in their hair loss journey.

I had such a good time during my interview with Be in the Driver Seat. 🙏🏽 It’s truly been a long time coming, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share my story, my journey, and the passion behind everything I do.

Being in that seat reminded me of how far I’ve come, and how important it is to keep showing up even when the road is tough. Thank you for having me and creating space for voices like mine. This was more than just an interview… it was a moment of reflection, purpose, and alignment.
