Maybe I’m showing my age as a nail tech, but why are we using molding gel for flowers when acrylic already exists???? I swear every few years the industry takes something we already do, puts it in a different jar, and suddenly it’s revolutionary. The real question is real question… what is molding gel doing that acrylic hasn’t been doing for years? 👀 Somebody educate me.

I know social media LOOOOOVES a comeback story. The struggle. The rock bottom. The behind the scenes breakdowns…
I came across something today that made me realize how differently people handle hard seasons. Some people share EVERYYYYY step of the journey while they’re living it…but I’ve never been that person.

Truthfully, most of my hardest seasons never made it online. Some of them happened before social media became what it is today. Others happened while I was still posting happy moments, showing up for work, raising my kids, and doing my best to keep moving forward. Most of my hardest seasons happened quietly. I’ve never felt the need to document every struggle as it happened. You saw the post when something good happened. Those moments just existed alongside things most people never saw.

That’s why social media can be so misleading. The happiest photo you’ve ever posted and the hardest season of your life can exist at the exact same time. My struggles shaped me, but they’ve never been something I’ve felt the need to use for validation, attention, or approval from strangers on the internet. It’s not a secret, it’s just …NOT content. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The people who know me know my story.
