Ever walk into a room and completely forget why you were there?

Or find yourself in the middle of a conversation searching for the right word?

Then, just as you’re trying to focus… a hot flash hits.

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.

Brain fog and hot flashes are two of the most common symptoms women experience during menopause. Hormonal changes—especially fluctuating estrogen levels—can affect your body’s temperature regulation, memory, concentration, and mental clarity.

Many women begin to wonder:
“Is something wrong with me?”

The answer is often no. Your body is going through a significant transition, and these symptoms are common—but that doesn’t mean you have to simply accept them.

At Nirvana Holistic Health, we believe every woman deserves to understand what’s happening in her body and receive personalized support for her unique journey. The goal isn’t to “push through” menopause—it’s to help you feel like yourself again.

Menopause is a new chapter, not the end of your vitality.

If brain fog, hot flashes, or other menopause symptoms are affecting your quality of life, comment WELLNESS, and we’ll send you more information about scheduling a personalized wellness visit.

Exercise during menopause isn’t about chasing a number on the scale—it’s about protecting your health, preserving your strength, and helping your body adapt to hormonal changes.

As estrogen levels decline, many women notice weight gain, increased belly fat, lower energy, poor sleep, mood changes, and a loss of muscle. The good news is that regular movement can make a meaningful difference.

Here’s why exercise matters during menopause:

• Preserves muscle mass. Women naturally lose muscle as they age, but strength training helps maintain lean muscle, which supports a healthy metabolism.

• Protects bone health. Weight-bearing exercise helps strengthen bones and may reduce the risk of osteoporosis and fractures.

• Supports heart health. Menopause increases the risk of heart disease. Regular physical activity helps improve blood pressure, cholesterol, and circulation.

• Improves mood. Exercise stimulates the release of endorphins, helping reduce stress, anxiety, and symptoms of depression.

• Promotes better sleep. Staying active can improve sleep quality, which is often disrupted during menopause.

• Helps manage weight. While exercise alone isn’t the entire answer, it plays an important role in maintaining a healthy weight and reducing abdominal fat when combined with proper nutrition.

• Boosts energy. It may seem counterintuitive, but consistent movement often leaves you feeling more energized throughout the day.

Menopause is a new chapter—not the end of feeling vibrant. Your body is changing, and your wellness plan should change with it. The goal isn’t to exercise more; it’s to exercise smarter.

If you’re struggling with menopause symptoms and wondering where to start, comment WELLNESS, and I’ll send you information about scheduling a personalized wellness visit.

There's 'menopause legislation' in the works. What does that mean? More than half of the states have introduced or passed menopause bills including requiring insurance companies to cover hormone therapy.
