Come celebrate ONE YEAR of this amazing community asset that I am proud to be apart of - !

While reflecting on what the last year has looked like for me and HOMMA, I am filled with gratitude and assurance that I’m right where I need to be. Because of The Scale House Market and the incredible patrons, I have been able to focus more on product-making and developing, being present with my family while saying yes to more adventures and less physical work events, & the opportunity to build community vendor relationships. Avenues of growth have opened up for HOMMA with expansion to our herbal growing operation and future product development and sales because of relationships built and fostered here. I cannot thank the SHM community for supporting this past year’s growth of ours!

Our massive 6-year old elderberry bushes (trees) made their way to the their new home today! I started these babies on a whim with big dreams in 2020 and they’ve provided so much goodness to the community via the HOMMA Homegoods DIY Elderberry Syrup Kits.

Our business is growing (thanks to you!) and we’ve pruned and propagated our 5 bushes to keep appropriately-sized plants on our urban homestead. We’ve moved the mama plants to a space in Colbert, WA that we’re collaborating on for more big dreams!This migration will allow urban farmers like us to continue to thrive! It’s a win-win for us all and we are so excited for the future and endlessly grateful for the journey we’re on! Here we go, team!
