We removed her previous extensions, created a beautiful 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 & 𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 to bring depth back into her hair, and strategically matched the darker pieces to her natural root for the softest, most seamless grow-out. Then came the fun part… I custom-colored the blonde pieces of the extension into this vibrant teal, creating bold pops of color that weave seamlessly throughout her hair.

My client came in ready to say goodbye to grown-out roots and the orange/yellow tones that had taken over her once-bright blonde. Instead of automatically reaching for a scalp bleach, we chose a healthier, lower-maintenance approach that will look beautiful long after she leaves the salon.

By focusing a 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡t through her existing block of blonde, I was able to brighten her from roots to ends, creating one cohesive blonde while breaking up those uneven, brassy tones. Using 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐭𝐨-𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐳𝐢𝐠-𝐳𝐚𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, I softened her natural root, eliminating that harsh line of demarcation that comes with repeated scalp bleaches. 🙌

To finish, I toned her with a 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐥-𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐈𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭—one of my favorite tricks for keeping blondes bright, creamy, and reflective instead of flat or overly ashy. Leaving a little of her natural depth throughout also added dimension and made that blonde absolutely pop! ✨
