If you’re newer here, I’m Kileigh, the esthetician behind Back Bar Skincare on Spokane’s South Hill.

I’ve been working in esthetics for over 17 years, and I spent part of that time teaching esthetics too. I still love the science and education side of skincare, but what I love most is taking all of that information and making it make sense for the person sitting in front of me.

That’s a big part of why Back Bar works the way it does.

You book your facial by time, and I build the treatment around what your skin needs that day. You don’t need to figure out which ten ingredients you’re missing or choose between a giant menu of treatments before you come in.

My background is in Health & Human Development, massage therapy, and esthetics, so I tend to look at more than just what I see on the surface. Skin barrier, inflammation, stress, habits, home care, and what is realistic for your actual life all matter.

I like skincare that feels thoughtful, specific, and doable.

And after 17 years, I still genuinely love being in the treatment room.

Fall Proof is now on the treatment menu at Back Bar.

Lactic acid + licorice root, and this one has a little spice to it.

It’s focused on texture, dullness, and uneven tone. Lactic acid helps smooth and brighten, while licorice root supports a more even-looking complexion.

It’s a little more active than a regular facial and a really good option when your skin is ready for more focused work.

Fall is a really good time to work a little more intentionally on your skin, and this is exactly what I wanted this peel to do.

Fall Proof is a focused 30-minute treatment that pairs a lactic acid peel with a licorice root treatment mask.

The lactic acid exfoliates dull surface buildup and helps smooth rough-feeling texture. The mask follows with licorice root extract, which contains glycyrrhetic acid and flavonoids. It helps soothe the skin, provides antioxidant support, and helps uneven-looking tone appear brighter and more even.
