One of my favorite things about my studio has to be the accent wall. 💛

I had this vision of creating a space that felt colorful, vibrant, and groovy….and everything else honestly came together because of this wallpaper. From the beginning, I knew I didn't want another all-gray, sterile salon. I wanted something that felt happy, creative, and unapologetically me. (No shade to the millennial gray girlies... it's just not my vibe. 😂)

I've never been afraid to be myself, and I truly believe that when you show up as your authentic self, you attract the right people. The clients who sit in my chair don’t just come for their hair, they come for the experience, the conversations, the music, the laughs, and the energy. I love to uplift every person who sits in my chair and make them forget about the weight of the world.

So if you’re new here, welcome. 🧡 Every little detail in this space was chosen intentionally because it reflects who I am. And if you don’t like my studio… well… you might just have bad taste. …Kidding…..Mostly. 😉

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided it’s time to make an important change to my booking policy.

As many of you know, I have tried to avoid requiring deposits for as long as possible because I want booking with me to be simple and stress-free…. Unfortunately, after experiencing an overwhelming number of last-minute cancellations and rescheduled appointments, I’ve reached the point where I need to better protect my business, my income, and the time I set aside for each guest.

Effective immediately, all color appointments will require a $50 non-refundable booking deposit. Your deposit is not an additional fee. It will be applied toward your service total, with the remaining balance due at your appointment.

Appointments will not be reserved without a deposit.

A booking deposit creates a mutual commitment between both the client and the service provider. When I reserve time for you, that time is no longer available for another client to book. As a small business owner, last-minute cancellations often mean I cannot refill that appointment, resulting in lost income that directly affects my family and my business.

If you need to reschedule, your deposit will happily transfer to your new appointment as long as at least 24 hours’ notice is given. Please note that 24 hours means a full 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, not simply the day before.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as no-shows, will forfeit the booking deposit. A new deposit will be required to reserve another appointment.

I truly understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen, and I always strive to be fair and understanding. This policy isn’t about being difficult. It’s about creating clear expectations, respecting each other’s time, and allowing me to continue providing the best service possible while supporting my family and running a sustainable business.

I have also decided to drop my schedule down from 5 days of business to 4 days a week for the next few months.
