Last year, just before I signed up for esthetician school, I made this candle with three intentions in mind: knowledge, wealth, and abundance.

Lighting a candle didn’t make it happen by itself. I had to set goals, take action, learn, and keep going. And wealth is subjective 😀—but I can say I feel abundant in what I’ve learned and what I’m building with Sabrina’s Spa Shop.

With the new moon coming this Saturday, take a little time this week to think about what you’d like to invite into your life. It can be anything: growth, confidence, connection, creativity, or a new opportunity.

You don’t get to the finish line if you don’t start. If you are wanting to grow something, do something, be something, create something, provide a product or service of something, then you have to start. You have to be willing to take action, to learn, to receive input (good and bad), and possibly even help from others. Sometimes it’s just you, and that’s ok. Keep going, keep doing, keep improving. When you do reach that finish line, Celebrate. Share your growth, your product, your service, your insights with others. That time I tried Levulan Kerastick with BLU-U photodynamic therapy for sun-damaged areas on my hands and forearms.

After using prescription creams, including imiquimod, my dermatologist recommended this treatment. First came the Levulan and Saran-wrapped arms, followed by the blue light—and then the reaction began.

Days 2 and 3 were the most dramatic: redness, burning, itching, and two arms that reacted very differently.

For the next two weeks, it was SPF, covered arms, unscented lotion, flaking skin, and trying not to pick!

One treatment later, I can already see a big difference. I’m returning to my dermatologist on October 5, and if she recommends another round, I’ll be back!

Love it when a new client comes in and they trust you enough to fall asleep during their facial. I don’t know why, but I take it as the biggest compliment.

Just finished planning the household weekly menu and then shopping for it. It’s so nice outside I had to take a little break and perform a little photoshoot (which TinkerBell wanted no part of - LOL) Have a great weekend everyone, and remember, “pamper yourself naturally”.
