Copaiba essential oil has been used by the natives of north and northeastern Brazil in
traditional health practices.
Today the oil is often found in
cosmetic products including soaps, creams, lotions, and perfumes.
Copaiba Touch is a blend of CPTG® Copaiba
essential oil and Fractionated Coconut Oil.
It moisturizes skin, and promotes a clear complexion.
*Add a Copaiba treatment to your massage in the month of April for only $10 and receive a 1 oz bottle of blended Copaiba oil to take home with you! +15% off Copaiba retail such as the Copaiba touch roll-on!

When you think of doTERRA® Copaiba essential oil, what is the first word that comes to mind?
Copaiba is a incredibly versatile oil that has been used for centuries. doTERRA harvests Copaiba from the Amazon rainforest in Brazil where we are proud to partner with a large network of Copaiba harvesters.
January to June is considered the "rainy season" in the Amazon. During this time, the Amazon River and its tributaries rise and this "flooding" creates a unique window of access to thousands of Copaiba trees that otherwise could not be reached.
What is most important to doTERRA is that the oleoresin for Copaiba essential oil is collected through sustainable methods, which ensures that the trees will be around for years to come.
Emily Wright calls the "tapping" the harvesters do "a labor of love". A Copaiba harvester is as much an artist as a harvester. The family of one of our Copaiba harvesters has over 100 trees under their care!
doTERRA is in the very beginning stages of Co-Impacting Sourcing® Initiatives in Brazil. But we are already coordinating with local committees to provide better healthcare, meaningful education, and access to clean water.
Stay tuned—we can't wait to share the progress with you.

I have seen a lot of progression in Massage Therapy in the last 20 years.
But since World War II we as professionals in a medical field have been fighting a stigma that connects s*x or sensual feelings with massage.
I am happy to share this new resource to help educate clients and connect other Therapists to help stand against being viewed as s*x workers!
This site also addresses questions you may be to shy to ask your current therapist or if you would like to schedule a massage but aren’t sure what to expect.

Why do we crave therapeutic touch?
We all know that after a massage we feel better… but why? Why do we look forward to the yoga instructor’s adjustments or light touch at the end of class, or feel better after receiving a hug?
Research shows the right kind of touch can lower blood pressure, heart rate, and cortisol levels, stimulate the hippocampus (an area of the brain that is central to memory), and drive the release of a host of hormones and neuropeptides that have been linked to positive and uplifting emotions. The physical effects of touch are far-reaching. To sum it up:
-Touch is essential to the human experience.
-Touch can impact anxiety, depression, stress, and the nervous system.
-Infants can have developmental delays associated with touch deprivation.
-Massage decreases symptoms of PTSD among military veterans.
-Touch trains neural pathways – safe, therapeutic touch re-trains the brain to predict safe interactions.
While yoga has been shown to be extremely beneficial for both the physical body and emotions, adding the powerful element of touch has the potential to exponentially increase positive effects for the mind and body.
