Been trying to learn Ikebana. Although I had no fresh flowers, I thought I would try some of the techniques I've learned. One pic is a formal style of Moribana and the other is free style of Nageire. They are not perfect, but as a first try was a fun way to celebrate Lunar New Year!

Animal Medicine: Exploring Power Animals Workshop
Early shamans were mystics, magicians, and scientists. They spent time in Nature, studying the animals, learning about them to awaken their power more fully and to interpret their messages more accurately. Today we can continue to do this, but we must first learn to experience animals and Nature. In modern life, we are often disconnected from Nature and have forgotten how to listen to it.
This in-person experiential workshop is about the spirit of animals that we encounter in our daily lives, in our thoughts or even in our dreams, and then determining the difference between an ordinary encounter or an extraordinary encounter. If extraordinary, what message, teachings, or healing to being conveyed to us – what medicine is being offered to us that would assist us in our lives.
Through a combination of discussions, exercises, and meditations you will increase your awareness of power animals, encounter a personal animal, analyze its message and how it applies to a current situation, question, or concern in your life’s journey.
